Data Deletion
VoiceLayer is operated by Hastkari LLC. · Effective June 7, 2026
How to ask for your data to be deleted. VoiceLayer is operated by Hastkari LLC. Most of the data on the platform belongs to the businesses that use it, so the right place to ask depends on who you are. For how we handle data in general, see the Privacy Policy.
1. If you are a VoiceLayer customer
You can ask us to delete any of the following, for your workspace:
- one person’s data: their conversations, transcripts, recordings, and what your agents remember about them;
- a single conversation or recording;
- your whole account and everything stored for it.
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and say which of these you want. We will confirm it is you, then delete the data. When an account is closed, we make your data available for export for 30 days and then delete it.
2. If you texted, called, or messaged a business that uses VoiceLayer
You are an “end user”. The business you contacted decides what is kept about you and is responsible for your request, so the quickest route is to ask the business you contacted to delete your data.
You can also email [email protected] and we will pass your request to that business and help them complete it. Please include:
- the name of the business you contacted;
- the phone number or WhatsApp number you used, so we can find your conversations;
- what you want deleted: a particular conversation, or everything about you.
3. What is deleted, and how long it takes
What is deleted
- conversation transcripts and recordings;
- call and message metadata tied to the person;
- what the AI agent remembers about the person across conversations, such as facts and answers they gave earlier.
How long it takes
We delete stored data within 30 days of a verified request, and purge it from backups within 60 days.
What we may keep
Account, billing, and security records are kept only as long as the law, tax rules or security needs require, as the Privacy Policy explains. A business that is the controller of the data may also have its own reasons to keep a record.
